VAAL TRIANGLE - The Department of Basic Education is ready to administer the 2024 National Senior Certificate exams for 732,448 full-time and 136,195 part-time candidates. Examinations will run from 21 October to 27 November at 6,909 centres across South Africa. Minister Siviwe Gwarube said significant work has been done to prepare both learners and the system, with support from study camps and diagnostic reports. Umalusi has approved 162 question papers, and 55,053 markers will evaluate the results, which will be announced on 15 January next year.
