SEBOKENG - Controversial televangelist Bafana Zondo has been listed as number 17 on the uMkhonto we Sizwe Party's candidate list for Gauteng, despite facing multiple allegations. Zondo, the founder of Rivers of Living Waters in Evaton, a township north of Sebokeng in the Emfuleni local municipality, is facing numerous charges, including rape, indecent assault, and defeating the ends of justice. According to News24, the inclusion of Zondo on the list comes shortly after a visit to his church by former president Jacob Zuma, who now represents the MK Party. The party spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndhlela, emphasised that the Independent Electoral Commission prohibits individuals with criminal records from holding parliamentary positions.
