SEBOKENG - The Sebokeng SAPS is investigating a case of concealment of birth after the body of a newborn baby was found on September 4, near Boitumelo and Sonderwater, Sebokeng. He discovery was made by community members who noticed the lifeless infant and alerted authorities. Upon arrival, police conducted a thorough scene inspection and called Emergency Medical Services who confirmed the infant was a newborn baby boy with the umbilical cord still attached. The body has been taken to Sebokeng Government Mortuary for further investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances of this heartbreaking incident. Sebokeng Police Spokesperson Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane thanked the vigilant community members who brought the case to light and urged anyone with information about a recently pregnant individual who no longer has a baby, to come forward.
