Cert-SA assists man who collapsed on the side of the road on New Year’s Day

VAAL TRIANGLE - CERT-SA says their Vaal crew assisted a man who collapsed on the side of the road on New Year’s Day. On Monday afternoon at around 18:00, they received a call for a male patient who had collapsed on the side of the road. When they arrived on the scene, they assessed the patient and determined that he could be experiencing a cardiac problem. CERT-SA stabilised the patient on the scene and waiting with him until a state ambulance arrived. He was then transported to a nearby facility. CERT-SA thanked Prospect Security and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services for their assistance on the scene.
