CERT-SA responded to three motor vehicle accidents in Meyerton over the weekend.

MEYERTON - Cert SA says their Vaal crew responded to three seperarate accidents in Meyerton over the weekend. On Saturday evening at 19:25 the Vaal crew responded to a pedestrian vehichle accident on Meyer Road in Meyerton CBD. The patient was treated on scene and transported to the hospital in a critical condition. On Sunday afternoon at 12:20 our Vaal Crew responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident on the R59 close to Pierneed Rd offramp. The vehicle veered off the road and rolled multiple times. A male patient was treated on scene and transported to a nearby private hospital for further care. On Sunday afternoon at 17:25, our Vaal crew responded to a motor vehicle accident on Meyer Rd in Meyerton. A male patient sustained critical injuries when his vehicle veered off the road, collided with a tree, and rolled down an embankment. The patient had to be extricated from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life. He was stabilised on scene and transported to a nearby private hospital by ER24. Cert-SA thanked all parties, including the Midvaal Fire Department and ER24 for their assistance on all the scenes.
