CERT-SA responds to a shooting incident in Meyerton.

MEYERTON - Cert-SA says their Vaal crew responded to a shooting incident at The Oval in Henley on Klip in Meyerton, around 17:00 Monday afternoon. The organisation says, upon their arrival, the crew found a male patient who had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. According to the organisation, the patient succumbed to his injury and was declared dead on scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet clear, and police have launched an investigation. Cert-SA thanked the Meyerton SAPS and Henley CPF for their assistance on the scene.
