MEYERTON - Cert-SA says a truck accident occurred Tuesday afternoon on the R59, opposite Twinsavers. The organisation says their Vaal crew received a call for a motor vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon around 12:30 pm. Upon arrival, they found a truck that had lost control and tipped over. Two patients sustained minor injuries and were treated on scene. They were transported to hospital by ER24. This comes after another accident on Monday on the R59, during which two people were injured between Pierneef and Redan offramp in Meyerton. The organisation said their Vaal crew received a call for a motor vehicle collision at around 22:00 pm. Upon arrival, they found three vehicles were involved in the accident, of which one rolled and was lying on its side. Two patients were found on scene with minor injuries. They were both treated on scene and then transported to hospital by ambulance. CERT-SA thanked Midvaal Fire Department , Midvaal Traffic Department , and Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) for the assistance on scene.
