CERT-SA responds to multiple emergency calls over the weekend

VAAL TRIANGLE - CERT-SA said on Saturday, within a period of 48 hours their Vaal Crew responded to sixteen emergency calls. These included Motor Vehicle collisions, pedestrian vehicle collisons, assault cases, stabbing incidents, delivery of a newborn baby, and other general medical calls. According to CERT-SA, multiple patients had to be extricated from their vehicles using the Jaws of Life, and multiple patients required Advanced Life Support interventions. CERT-SA says this weekend showed exceptional teamwork between multiple agencies. CERT-SA thanked ER24 EMS, Gauteng Emergency Medical Services, Midvaal Fire Department, Midvaal Traffic, A Assist Towing, and Afri Guard for their assistance during these calls.
