Cyclist hit-and-killed by light motor vehicle in Vanderbijlpark

VANDERBIJLPARK - A 24-year-old man was killed last night when he was knocked off his bicycle by a light motor vehicle on Ravel Road in Vanderbijlpark. According to AriveAlive, ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 20h15 to find a man lying on the side of the road next to his bicycle. Medics assessed the man and determined that he had sustained multiple injuries and showed no signs of life. Regrettably, all efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. The female driver of the light motor vehicle fortunately escaped injury. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
