SEBOKENG - The Sebokeng SAPS is investigating a case of inquest after a decomposed body was discovered in a sewage stream behind the Kwamasiza Flats in Sebokeng. The deceased has been identified as the 32-year-old Siyabulela Nxibe, who had been reported missing over a month ago. Nxibe’s partner Mr. Lenkwane Mothetsi reported him missing on May 4, 2024, at the Sebokeng SAPS. According to Mothetsi, Nxibe left their home on May 1, 2024, and never again returned home. Mr. Mothetsi identified the decomposed body as that of Siyabulela Nxibe at the Sebokeng Government Mortuary on June 18. According to the Sebokeng SAPS police spokesperson, Sergeant Mokhachane, the investigation remains ongoing, with the cause of death yet to be determined as the investigation continues. Mokhachane urged the community not to delay in reporting a missing person. According to Mokhachane there is no waiting period and immediate action can be critical.
