VAAL TRIANGLE - The National Consumer Commission says automaker Volvo Car South Africa is recalling three of its models. The January 2023 XC90 model has a potential software failure in the brake control, while the October 2024 XC90 model has a rod between the brake pedal and brake booster that is not working correctly. The XC40 MY2024 has a turn indicator system issue. Meanwhile, the commission’s spokesperson, Phetho Ntaba, says seven Cape Herb and Spices products have been recalled, due to a grinder mechanism breaking during use, resulting in a hard plastic object being emitted.
