EFF calls for fair and transparent appointment on Metsimaholo tender

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in the Fezile Dabi region will be monitoring the appointment processes of an on Risk Professional Service Provider for Electrical Contract and Project Management Services for the electrification of 3,000 households in Mooidraai in the Metsimaholo Local Municipality. Central News reports this comes after the Metsimaholo Local Municipality advertised a tender opportunity for a qualified service provider to do electrical planning for bulk and electrification services for 3000 households in Mooidraai. The EFF indicated that they will be monitoring the whole process of appointing a qualified service provider. The EFF's April Motaung said the party has welcomed the decision to electrify thousands of households in Malemaville. However, Motaung said the EFF continues to call for the building of state capacity and the abolishment of tenders as they are a breeding ground for looting and corruption.
