This after the Electoral Commission’s election results screens at the national results and operations centre in Midrand and its website result dashboard are back online. The IEC says it experienced an interruption in the replication of data from the centre early this morning, causing a crash. The commission has reassured South Africans that the data centre remains intact and the results have not been compromised. It adds that result processing continues unaffected.
