Emergency power interruption to affect parts of Bophelong tomorrow

BOPHELONG - The Emfuleni Local Municipality issued a notice of an emergency power interruption that will affect certain areas tomorrow, 2 November. ELM said in a notice that Bophelong Extensions 2, 3, 4, 5, 16, 17 and 18 will be affected from 08:00 until 14:00. This is due to the replacement and commissioning of protection relays at the Town Substation. No guarantee can be given that supply will remain off for the duration of the interruption and therefore, affected customers are advised to always treat all electrical circuits and appliances as LIVE.
