VAAL TRIANGLE - Eskom has announced a reduction in load-shedding to stage 3 until 16:00 this afternoon. Then stage 4 will be implemented until 20:00 tonight, followed by stage 5 from 20:00 to 05:00 tomorrow morning. Eskom’s spokesperson, Daphne Mokoena, confirms this pattern will continue this weekend. She says the reduction in rotational power cuts is due to improved generation capacity and the replenishment of emergency reserves and follows days of stage 6 load-shedding.
