Fidelity recovers a hijacked vehicle in Vereeniging.

VEREENIGING - Fidelity ADT says on Monday afternoon around 15:35 the Fidelity ADT Community Operations Manager received a Community Alert message reporting a hijacked vehicle in Midrand reportedly witnessed in Vanderbijlpark. The Community Operations Manager monitored the tracking updates and proceeded to the location of the vehicle assisting another local vehicle recovery organisation in the area. Fidelity Head of Group Marketing & Communications Charnel Hattingh told the 90.6FM news team the vehicle, a Micro bus was recovered in Viljoensdrift area, Vereeniging. The SAPS responded to the scene to assist with the recovery and arrest. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Vereeniging SAPS. The vehicle confiscated and transported to SAP13. All parties assisting in the successful apprehension were Fidelity, One Guard, the SAPS and Car Track.
