Gauteng government plans to build 40 new roads in communities across Emfuleni

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Gauteng government plans to build 40 new roads in communities across Emfuleni. Premier Panyaza Lesufi joined president Cyril Ramaphosa’s oversight visit to the embattled municipality on Friday. Visiting the Sebokeng wastewater treatment plant, they assessed progress made to upgrade the facility and interacted with community members. There are growing calls from several political parties and civil society organisations for the Emfuleni Local Municipality to be put under administration and the council to be dissolved.
