Gauteng launches digital petitions system for enhanced civic engagement

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Gauteng Provincial Legislature has introduced its digital petitions system, called ePetitions System, enabling residents to submit service delivery concerns conveniently online. Developed in collaboration with government departments and municipalities, the system aims to streamline petitions management for efficient resolution. Petitioners can track progress online, promoting transparency and accountability. Chairperson of the Petitions Standing Committee, Ezra Letsoalo, emphasises that the petitions are crucial for addressing citizens' concerns, fostering progress while preventing destructive protests.
