VAAL TRIANGLE - Gauteng Traffic Police says it will continue monitor road users and pedestrians this week as schools are opening for the second term on Wednesday. This to ensure that there is no jaywalking and that drivers adhere to the prescribed speed limits. So far, over 20 people have lost their lives on Gauteng roads since Thursday afternoon. Police Spokesperson, Sello Maremane is urging motorists to continue exercising caution by adhering to road rules and regulations and ensure that their vehicles are roadworthy.
