Green Connection calls on Nersa to change the methodology for electricity tariffs

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Green Connection says the continuing price hikes by Eskom mean that more and more people are finding electricity to be unaffordable. A 12.75% tariff increase came into effect in April. Green Connection’s Liziwe McDaid says part of the problem is that the National Energy Regulator of South Africa has not reviewed the methodology for the tariffs, which needs to change urgently.
