Health Minister Motsoaledi bans cannabis ingredients in food

VAAL TRIANGLE - Health Minister Doctor Aaron Motsoaledi has gazetted regulations that ban the sale, importation, and manufacturing of food products that contain cannabis. The regulations also ban any food products with ingredients from hemp seed, hemp flour, or cannabis oil. The regulations state that anyone who is found to be selling foodstuffs with the prohibited ingredients will be liable to a fine or imprisonment on conviction.
