Hijacked vehicle recovered in Orange Farm

ORANGE FARM - The Johannesburg Metro Police Department, JMPD, has recovered a vehicle that was hijacked in Evaton, Vaal Triangle. The JMPD said the Nissan NP200 was recovered in Orange Farm by JMPD Officers. This after it was hijacked in Evaton and booked in at Lenasia SAPS Pound. Local authorities were on the scene of the vehicle recovery for assistance. Meanwhile, the JMPD also impounded two vehicles for number plate investigations by JMPD operations officers in Orange Farm & surrounding areas. The department encouraged motorists to ensure that their vehicles are registered according to the National Road Traffic Act before driving on a public road. It said compliance is not negotiable.
