Jewellery store in the River Square Shopping Centre robbed

THREE RIVERS - Cert-SA says their Vaal crew responded to reports of a shooting at the River Square Shopping Centre in Three Rivers on Saturday afternoon at approximately 15:45. It is alleged an armed robbery occurred at a jewelry store inside the mall. According to Cert-SA, the owner of the jewelry store sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. He was treated on scene and airlifted to a Trauma Hospital by Netcare911 HEMS. Cert-SA thanked ER24 Emergency Services, Netcare911, SharpMed, and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services for their assistance on the scene.
