Midvaal mayor donating wheelchairs and crutches in support of mobility needs

MEYERTON - Midvaal Local Municipality Executive Mayor, Alderman Peter Teixeira, is today donating over 40 wheelchairs and 20 crutches as part of the municipality’s commitment to community welfare and supporting individuals with mobility challenges. Mayoral spokesperson, Idah Satikhe, said in a statement the Executive Mayor will be joined by the MMC for Community Services, Cllr Thembi Modiba, and other stakeholders. Satikhe said Midvaal Local Municipality is a caring and compassionate institution that strives to give support to all members of its community. The event is taking place at the Meyerton Town Hall this afternoon.
