Midvaal Mayor unwell and on sick leave

MIDVAAL - The Midvaal Municipality has released a statement informing it's residents that the Executive Mayor, Peter Teixeira is unwell and will be indisposed for a period of time in order to rest and recover. The Mayor’s family has requested that he be allowed the necessary time and space during this period. The Executive Mayor has appointed Alderman Pat Hutcheson as the Acting Executive Mayor during this period. Alderman Hutcheson is fully authorised to carry out all the functions, powers, and duties of the Executive Mayor. The Office of the Executive Mayor continues to operate as per usual, with all requests being handled effectively and efficiently.
