MIDVAAL - The Midvaal community can once again dive into summer fun as the Midvaal Public Pool has officially reopened. Mayor Peter Teixeira cut the ribbon at the facility this week, inviting residents of all ages to enjoy the pool as a safe and affordable family destination. The pool is set to operate throughout the warmer months, offering a refreshing space for relaxation and recreation. Entry fees have been kept accessible: children under five enter free, children under 12 pay R14, and adults pay R18. Operating hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, and Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00. The pool will be closed on Mondays and all public holidays. Mayor Teixeira encouraged families to take advantage of the facility, saying the pool is more than just a place to swim—it is a community hub where memories are made.
