Midvaal receives three excellence awards from PMR Africa

MIDVAAL - The Midvaal Local Municipality in Gauteng received three awards from the local government categories from PMR-Africa at the 2024 Golden Arrow Awards. The municipality received first place for being amongst the municipalities recognised for excellence in cleaning the environment and infrastructure development. The municipality also won an award for excellence in creating jobs, attracting foreign investment, and promoting tourism. The municipality’s Idah Sathike says they also received an award for proactive mayors.
