VAAL TRIANGLE - Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni has urged Gauteng residents to conserve water during the upcoming maintenance closure of the Lesotho Highlands tunnel. The closure, starting next month and lasting until March next year, is crucial for maintaining infrastructure and will impact water availability. In her media address, Ntshavheni said while the impact on the Integrated Vaal River System is minimal, level-one water restrictions are in place due to rising demand.
