Mutilated body found in Sebokeng over the weekend

SEBOKENG - The Sebokeng SAPS is investigating a murder case after a mutilated body was discovered in Sebokeng, Vaal Triangle. Police say the body of an unknown African male was found in Zone 10, Extension 2, this past Saturday. Upon arrival, officers found the body of a man lying lifeless on the ground. According to police, the victim’s eyes had been removed, although no other visible injuries or blood stains were found at the scene. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel responded and declared the victim dead. The body was later transported to Forensic Pathology Services for further investigation. The motive behind the killing remains unknown, and no suspects have been identified at this stage. Due to the nature of the crime, the SAPS Occult-Related Crime Unit has been called in to assist with the investigation.
