VAAL TRIANGLE - The National Energy Regulator of South Africa has released a consultation document to reshape load-shedding procedures, now open for public input until 22 September. The document proposes extending load-shedding stages up to stage 16. Nersa aims to finalise the code of practice edition three based on feedback. The consultation addresses utility-driven measures and seeks alignment with the Electricity Regulations Act. Submissions will be considered in the final decision-making process regarding the proposed changes.
