VAAL TRIANGLE - Mineral Resources and Energy minister Gwede Mantashe has unveiled forthcoming fuel price changes, with both 93 and 95 octane petrol set to drop by a significant R1,78 per litre. Diesel prices will see reductions ranging from 82 to 85 cents per litre, while Illuminating paraffin will decrease by 97-cents per litre. In contrast, the retail price of LP gas will rise by R1,49 per kilogram. These adjustments are influenced by a combination of local and global factors, including lower crude oil prices due to increased inventories and the lifting of sanctions on Venezuela.
