One suspect arrested in Vanderbijlpark for firearm theft

VANDERBIJLPARK - Fidelity ADT Vaal responded to information regarding a vehicle of interest that has been spotted, at 13h29, Tuesday, 31 October. The driver of the vehicle was allegedly involved in stealing a firearm out of vehicle. Fidelity’s Head of Communications, Charnel Hattingh told the 90.6FM news team their Community Operations Manager monitored the tracking updates of the Huyndai i20 in the Vanderbijpark Plots area. Together with the Vanderbijlpark SAPS, the vehicle was pulled over and the suspect was arrested. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Vanderbijlpark SAPS. The vehicle was confiscated and transported to SAP13, whereby the case will be investigated.
