Parts of Vereeniging will be without power on Saturday

VEREENIGING - The Emfuleni Local Municipality says various parts of Vereeniging will be affected by a power supply interruption this coming Saturday, 18 November. ELM said in a notice that consumers at Peace Haven, the Vereeniging CBD, Mediclinic, Pro Roof, Riviera Hotel and parts of Duncanville will be affected from 09:00 until 17:00. This is due to vital maintenance of 11kV switchgear brakers at DS Substation. Emfuleni said no guarantee can be given that the supply will remain off for the duration of the interruption, and therefore affected customers are advised to always treat all electrical circuits and appliances as LIVE. ELM apologised for the inconvenience.
