Police rescue kidnapped Pakistani businessman in Sebokeng

SEBOKENG - The Sebokeng SAPS is investigating a case of murder following a shocking incident involving kidnapping and violence in Sebokeng Zone 6, on Monday, December 23. According to Evaton Police Spokesperson Constable Thulisile Msibi, officers were directed to a house after a cellphone linked to a ransom demand was traced to the address. Upon arrival, the homeowner reported hearing a commotion in the back room, where her tenants were involved in a violent altercation with a kidnapped Pakistani man. Police discovered an unresponsive black male on the floor, who was declared dead by emergency services, and a Pakistani male with visible facial injuries, allegedly the kidnapping victim. The deceased was identified as a tenant, while the injured man was reportedly held captive in the room. The cause of death remains unclear, and no arrests have been made.
