VAAL TRIANGLE - The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union says the continued killing of police officers remains a major concern and undermines the proper functioning of the Criminal Justice Cluster. Over 70 police officers have been killed in the country this year. Popcru’s spokesperson, Richard Mamabolo, says police officers have become targeted victims. He says they reiterate their call for an urgent review of the police safety strategy and plan.
