Power supply interruption to hit various parts of Vereeniging on Saturday

VEREENIGING - The Emfuleni Local Municipality issued a notice that certain Vereeniging areas will be without power for most of the day on Saturday. ELM said in a notice that Arcon Park, Waldrift, Redan, Springcol, Van Der Merwes Kroon AH and Duncanville Extension 3 consumers are will be affected by a planned power supply interruption on Saturday, 26 August 2023, from 08:00 am to 16:00 pm. This is due to necessary maintenance at 1- Vereening Substation. Emfuleni said no guarantee can be given that supply will remain off for the duration of the interruption and therefore affected customers are advised to always treat all electrical circuits and appliances as LIVE. The municipality apologised for the inconvenience.
