REMINDER: Vanderbijlpark without water for the next four days

VANDERBIJLPARK - Vanderbijlpark residents are reminded that water supply will be shut down from tomorrow until Monday. The Emfuleni Local Municipality said this is to repair a leaking waterpipe valve. Water supply to Vanderbijlpark, Tshepiso, Boipatong, Bophelong, Bophelong Edxtensions, Bonanne and surrounding Agricultural Holdings will be shut down on Thursday 14 September until Monday 18 September. Should no issues occur, the repair will be completed in 4 days, with a probable 5th day to "bleed" air from the pipes and even a 6th day to fill the reservoir. There will be NO water at all during the initial 4 days. Residents are urged to prepare and store sufficient water for drinking, cooking, and ablution purposes.
