Revamped Rust Ter Vaal Community Library to be reopened tomorrow

RUST TER VAAL - The Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Morakane Mosupyoe will tomorrow, 12 March 2024, hand over the revamped State-of-the-Art library to the community of Rust Ter Vaal in Vereeniging. Departmental spokesperson, Nomazwe Ntlokwana, said the MEC Mosupyoe will be joined by the Executive Mayor of Emfuleni, Councilor Sipho Radebe, who will receive the facility on behalf of the community. Ntlokwana said it is one of the most exciting community libraries built as it has a wide stock of books; a study section for 60 users; a Game room for 10 users and an ICT section that can accommodate 32 users. It also has dedicated sections for children, teenagers, and adults and will provide library services to the community of Rust Ter Vaal and surrounding areas including, Vaaldrift, Springcol, Ramaphosa and Top Location. The day’s programme for the handover will include sporting and recreational activities including performances by local artists.
