Sebokeng SAPS nabs Man in crystal meth bust folowing community tip-off

SEBOKENG - The Sebokeng SAPS arrested a 22-year-old man from Zone 13 on 26 May 2025 after receiving an anonymous tip-off about drug activity in the area. The suspect was found in possession of substances believed to be crystal meth. According to Sebokeng SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane, the arrest was made during routine patrols and highlights ongoing efforts to dismantle local drug networks. Mokhachane said these weekly arrests show how effective the SAPS’s stop-and-search operations are, and how crucial community involvement is. Acting Station Commander Colonel Molene Pieterse praised residents for their continued support and said the community is the eyes and ears of the SAPS.
