The business rescue practitioner at the Post Office says operations will not be disrupted.

VAAL TRIANGLE - The business rescue practitioner at the Post Office, Anoosh Rooplal, has given the assurance that the plan to retrench 6,000 workers and close 420 branches will not disrupt operations. The move is part of a cost-saving initiative as the Post Office undergoes restructuring. Rooplal emphasises the need to address duplications and overlaps in operations, aiming for a more efficient and modernised Post Office. The plan seeks to align staff and revenue numbers according to market metrics and ratios for improved sustainability.
