The DA urges government to scrap policies threatening jobs as ArcelorMittal closes long steel business

VEREENIGING - The DA says the government must scrap policies that are putting jobs at risk. According to the party, the Industrial Master Plans, Price Controls and Export Taxes are responsible for ArcelorMittal South Africa’s closure of the long steel business. This closure will cost the country more than 80,000 jobs. The DA’s Mlondi Mdluli, says the country must get the basics right to save jobs.
