VAAL TRIANGLE - The EFF has labelled the South African Post Office business rescue plan as an obituary plan, which has no guarantee of ensuring the state-owned entity will recover in the future. Last week, Post Office creditors agreed on a business rescue plan that includes six-thousand job losses and the closure of over 400 loss-making branches. The Post Office’s business rescue practitioners briefed Parliament’s portfolio committee on Communication and Digital Technologies yesterday. The EFF’s Sinawo Tambo, says it is inevitable that the Post Office will close.
