MIDVAAL - The Midvaal Local Municipality welcomed the development of Meyerton Mall, currently under construction at Pierneef Boulevard. MLM says in a statement, this multi-million-rand development is poised to generate over 800 temporary jobs and create additional long-term opportunities once the mall becomes operational. Moreover, the new mall will benefit Small Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) by enhancing the local value chain and unlocking potential new sectors. MLM says residents will enjoy convenient access to a diverse array of goods and services, and improved community amenities. According to Executive Mayor, Peter Teixeira, residents will no longer need to travel to surrounding areas for their shopping needs. The development of this new mall presents an opportunity for an increase in property values due to enhanced infrastructure and commercial growth.
