The minister of Electricity says exempting schools from load-shedding during exams is impossible.

VAAL TRIANGLE - Electricity minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says it will not be possible to exempt all schools from load-shedding during the examination period. There have been growing concerns about the impact load-shedding will have on matriculants who are writing their final examinations. Ramokgopa says exempting schools will be tricky as the country is still navigating its energy challenges, with losses of up to 17,000 megawatts from the power grid in the past week alone.
