VAAL TRIANGLE - Cash Connect says he has been informed by G4S that the Motor Transport Workers Union (MTWU) will commence a national labour strike today, 13 June 2024. The duration of this strike remains uncertain. Anticipated disruptions include severe disruption to G4S’ CIT services, uncertainty regarding which branches and how many employees will participate and potential variability in service availability from area to area and day to day. Consequently, all G4S CIT services may become unreliable and unpredictable, and could cease altogether for the strike's duration. Cash Connect says due to these expected disruptions, they will be unable to offer its Instant Access facility during the strike period. Customers are advised to plan accordingly for potential delays and interruptions in CIT services.
