The Sebokeng SAPS investigate teen’s fatal stabbing

SEBOKENG - Sebokeng SAPS have launched a murder investigation after the body of a 19-year-old man was discovered in Golden Gardens. Community members alerted police to the body of an unknown male lying on the ground on Saturday morning, 20 July 2025. Emergency medical services confirmed that the young man had died from a deep stab wound to the chest. He was later identified by a relative as a local resident of Golden Gardens. According to police, the victim was last seen alive the previous night at a nearby shebeen. How he ended up at the scene remains unclear. The motive for the killing is still unknown, and no arrests have been made. Sebokeng SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane, is calling on the public to come forward with any information.
