The Vaal Triangle is invited to greet the late Johann Griessel with a mass drive in Sasolburg.

SASOLBURG - The CPF Sasolburg invited all Neighborhoodwatches, street group patrollers, security companies, sub forums, Afriforum and the community to participate in a final mass drive in remembrance of their former Chairperson Johann Griesel. The mass drive will start at 17:00 until 18:00 this afternoon, from the D P de Villiers Stadium in Sasolburg. Johann Griessel, is one of two people who drowned on the 3 October 2023, in Hibberdine in KwaZulu-Natal. Griessel and his daughter Jenney's fiance, Colin Schreuder, died in a brave attempt to save Jenney from a treacherous rip current. Jenney was rescued from the sea and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. CPF Sasolburg says Griesel leaves a legacy as a trend setter in the community that will always be valued.
