The Vanderbijlpark community mourns the loss of beloved teacher

VANDERBIJLPARK - The Vanderbijlpark community mourns the tragic death of Gerbrandt and Magda Ferreira. The 31-year-old Mr. Gerbrandt Ferreira was a teacher at Hoërskool Driehoek. The beloved mother and son died on Saturday, April 20, in a fatal accident near the so called intersection of death on the R57 highway. The news of their loss hit the community with a wave of grief. Hoërskool Driehoek said on its Facebook page that the memory of Mr. Gerbrandt Ferreira will live on in the hearts of all who knew him as a "Hoekie Legend". His joy, helpfulness, caring, and jokes will be missed every day by those he touched.
