The Water and Sanitation Ministry commissions a new purification plant in the Vaal today

VAAL TRIANGLE - The Water and Sanitation Ministry is in the Vaal Triangle today to commission the newly built 150 ml/g purification plant. The department said in a notice that it will also hand over the Section 63 intervention fleet for operation and maintenance purposes. Further, the department will also be engaging with community members in Vanderbijlpark today. A progress report on the Emfuleni Section 63 interventions will be provided. The department’s spokesperson, Wisane Mavasa, says the newly built 150 ml/g purification plant will add about 150 megalitres of potable water a day to municipalities in the province.
