Three men killed in suspected mob justice case in Sebokeng

SEBOKENG - The Sebokeng SAPS is investigating a case involving four counts of murder after three men have been killed in a suspected case of mob justice in Sebokeng, Vaal Triangle, Sunday morning, 8 September 2024. Police say the trio brutally attacked, robbed and killed the 29-year-old Moses Khumalo, leaving his family devastated. Gauteng police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says the community was mobilized and an act of mob justice unfolded. The community found the three assumed suspects hiding inside a container just few meters away from where Moses was allegedly found stabbed, where they were severally beaten and set alight. Sebokeng Police Spokesperson Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane stated that the police strongly condemn acts of vigilantism.
